Race Rules

PERCH FEES: 5 or more $100 each, less than 5 $125 each. No limit - send all the birds you want.

ENTRY FEES: $500 per bird shipped to the 1st Race. The birds will have 100 mile toss 15 days prior to the 150 mile race, this will allow you to select the birds you want to enter. Birds not activated will be available for other participants . (these birds remain the property of the breeder.) No cut - Entry fees will paid out in full.

NO AUCTION OR BUY BACKS: All birds will be shipped back to the owners. Owner pays shipping.

All birds will have their 9th & 10th flight pulled and grown in prior to training. All birds will be medicated and cared for under the advice of Dr. David Marx DVM. Complete financial statements will be provided. Send birds April 1st to June 1st. Replacements till June 15th.

Location: Just off Interstate 35 in Denton, Texas on 11 acres. Race coordinated with the Mercedes Classic Race. Birds for either race can be shipped to either location. Final races will be flown two days apart.

      Champion Bird Points awarded 1st 150 pts, 2nd 149pts, 3rd 148 pts, ... 150th 1pt.
November 5, 2008 - - - 200 miles, Pays $25,000 1st Drop
      Champion Bird Points awarded 1st 200 pts, 2nd 199 pts, 3rd 198 pts, ... 200th 1pt.
November 11, 2008- - - 300 miles, Pays $50,000 1st Drop
      Champion Bird Points awarded 1st 250 pts, 2nd 249, 3rd 248 pts, ... 250th 1pt.
November 18, 2008 - - - 200 miles, Pays $25,000 1st Drop
      Champion Bird Points awarded 1st 200 pts, 2nd 199 pts, 3rd 198 pts, ... 200th 1pt.
November 24, 2008 - - - 300 miles, Pays $50,000 1st Drop
      Champion Bird Points awarded 1st 250 pts, 2nd 249, 3rd 248 pts, ... 250th 1pt.
If 50% of the birds entered are home on the day no points are awarded the second day.
